Chanterelles are a golden, dense and meaty mushroom with wavy and fleshy caps. Their flavour goes well with creamy sauces, pasta, onions, and garlic. The stem is edible but is a little chewy.
The pictured mushrooms are a mix of winter chanterelle and pied de mouton. Cantherellus tubaeformis are winter chanterelle. The product that is delivered will differ depending on the time of year. If you'd like to confirm, please contact us for clarification.
